Abstract or Summary

This report, 'Case studies exploring the effectiveness of e-learning in ITOs', presents the findings of the third phase of the three-phased research project. This report outlines the findings of a review of the organisations web-presence of each organisation studied, the structured interviews undertaken with senior management in three distinct ITOs, identified in this report as X, Y and Z and also reports on telephone interviews undertaken with four trainees, identified in this report as A, B, C and D. .5 For the purpose of this report e-learning is defined as learning that is enabled or supported by the smart use of information and communications technology (ICT).
