Abstract or Summary
The past two decades have seen a changing face to both postsecondary education providers and the economic landscape. This economic climate has also produced a competitive workforce with training and education being central. With the increased emphasis on academic and vocational skills and the introduction of a user-pays educational system students question the quality and relevance of teaching, demanding more for their money. How have these changes affected students and the education providers that service them? Such questions need to be considered in an area that has previously been largely ignored.
