Abstract or Summary

Much of Hamilton’s suburban growth is occurring in the northern extremities. Naomi Williams visited Flagstaff and Rototuna in 2008 when the land was suspended in a state of “in between-ness”; hovering between countryside and suburbia. She revisited the sites in 2011.
