Abstract
"Much of our work demands that we draw exclusively on our own personal resources, and these are likely to be worn down though constant use....The accumulation of stress may be gradual and insidious, and sometimes it arrives suddenl;y and overwhelmingly" (Brown and Bourne, 1996 P 107). This workshop will consider the impact of stress in our daily work. It will assist to recognise sources of stress and consider ways to deal with it. Current resources and supports which can assist in coping with stress will be identified.
