Abstract
This annual publication is a summary and contextual commentary on the suite of exhibitions held at Coal Face Gallery, Genk, Belgium. My solo exhibition, 'Overburden'(16 Sept - 6 Nov 2011), was featured as a the first show in the 'No Man's Land' trilogy. Fourteen of my exhibition photographs are reproduced, alongside an interview and essay by Francis Groff. In the text I discuss this exhibition in relation to my long-term Rotowaro coal-mining documentary project.
