Commissioned by The East Village Opera Company (New York) to devise and arrange music items to be recorded by the Wellington Vector Orchestra for world-wide performances by the Twelve Irish Tenors: West Side Story medley; Mario Lanza medley; Rat Pack medley; and That's life

Abstract

Commissioned by The East Village Opera Company (NY) to devise and arrange 3 medleys: "West Side Story Medley", "Mario Lanza Medley" and "Rat Pack Medley", and "That's Life" to be recorded by the Wellington Vector Orchestra for world-wide performances of the Twelve Irish Tenors. These extended medleys and the single "That's life", initially arranged for the US performance "Twelve Irish Tenors" have also been used in international performance by touring EVO members. I attended one such performance at The Civic Theatre Auckland by "The Seven Tenors" during which they performed some of the above arrangements.
