Abstract

A sculpture that explores the notion of drawing and time. This work integrates metals and metals salts. The work deals with slow changes over time. These changes are registered on a steel plate at the base of the work as water evaporates, metal reactions take place, and crystals of various colours appear. The plate registers as a record of the processes that occur in the work, hence it can be seen as a drawing.
This show curated by Lorraine Pemberton where various artists are invited to explore the notion of drawing under the exhibition title of 'Delineate'.
