Abstract or Summary

Part 1 of a 2-part workshop that (1) introduces the problems of turn-taking faced by second languages when participating in group discussions with native speakers, (2) summarizes the analytical framework provided by Conversation Analysis, and then introduces a research project focusing on the development and evaluation of teaching resources designed to address these issues.
