Abstract or Summary

In early 2014 Squash NZ moved to a unified grading system for men and women. Their management team wanted to know if their proposed points readjustment scheme would result in an acceptable spread of players in each grade. I used this scheme to run a simulation in Matlab to determine what the distribution of player mumbers in each grade might be after a large number of matches were played. The results (attached in one of the Word documents) show that their points readjustment scheme should work as designed.
