Abstract
Globally outsourcing has gained popularity as it offers organisations the opportunity to benefit by attaining economies of scale and gaining access to the latest technology, skills and knowledge. The purpose of this research is to determine whether outsourcing is sustainable in South African by investigating the socio-political factors prevalent in the South African market.
