Abstract
This workshop explored how information and communication technologies (ICT) and e-learning applications are currently used to create and deliver learning activities. Three topics will be explored - Exploring the creation of digital content. - Presenting content using ICT tools. - Managing learning through learning management systems. At the conclusion of the workshop participants had an understanding of how learning events are created, presented and managed in the digital world. The workshop demonstrated how ICT and e-learning applications can be used to reduce the barriers of space, time and location and "open new doors" to learning events for all.
