A major digital exhibition showcasing a selected collection of work featuring artists with a
diverse use of mediums, influences and outputs. The exhibition was a public showcase showing for seven weeks from 25 July – 10 September 2013, at the Foundation for Contemporary art, Norfolk St, New York, NY., featuring multiple projections of artists’ works set to a background of music, entertainment – the spectacle of installation.
My three selected works were titled ‘Road Trip’ and were chosen for their intricacy of attention to form, fold, and features of our NZ landscape. Documenting the uniqueness of New Zealand’s landscapes, accentuated with attention to colour and unique, formal qualities of the individual landscape terrain. These works were selected from a portfolio of eight landscape Road Trip images to complement the other works in the exhibition. Projections were at 5m x 3m in the viewing auditorium, so images were of high resolution quality. The three images selected were of Nevis Pass, Te Anau, and Clyde – these were titled Site I, Site II, and Site III respectively.
