Abstract

Group exhibition - Pilot Gallery, Hamilton
This exhibition was selected/curated by gallery director, Karl Bayly.
He selected work from my “In the Absence of Rules” series because of its conceptual underpinning of power and gender issues. As a large mural-sized work (2m x 1.4m), the photograph was an analogue multiple exposure mural scale print - hand processed in darkroom, which was then digitally drum-scanned and mounted on di-bond for exhibition. The seamless, glossy surface promoted the act of viewing with the reflective surface holding the faces of the audience on its surface.
