Abstract

This multimedia project celebrates Hamilton's open spaces through personal stories and photographs. The project was a collaboration between Wintec School of Media Arts and the Hamilton City Council. The stories, photos and video were produced by Media Arts students, with specialist staff supervising their work, and curating the selection of images and stories that were exhibited at the museum. The exhibition offers a diverse insight into Hamilton's more than 200 parks and reserves, and showcases the individual stories that bring a social/cultural flavour to the region.
