Abstract or Summary

This session will look at issues relating to the design of listening assessments. In particular, it will look at what exactly teachers are trying to assess, and whether they are really assessing what they think they are assessing. The session will also discuss ‘textmapping’, a new approach (developed by Rita Green) to creating listening assessments.
