Abstract or Summary

Students are matched with industry partners in a design factory to solve problems. The design factory NZ aims to steadily increase student participation in the design factory with each passing semester. It has been observed that the design factory has not attracted the number of students that they initially expected. Now that Design Factory NZ has had two successful semesters (and has commenced the third semester), an opportunity has arisen to gain further understanding of the factors that may affect future student recruitment.
