Abstract or Summary

In recent days, security threats and cyber threats is becoming one of the major issue for most of the Organization. Nowadays, cybercrime is becoming a well-organized business which is affecting on the profit and loss of information of the organization. The security policies plays an important role in protecting and safeguarding the organization from threats that may damage the organizational data and assets. Based on the business boundaries of an organization the security policies are implemented within organization to safeguard the data and assets of the organization. There is no universal accepted best policy based on the nature of the organizational personnel and stakeholders a policy is designed. The organization mainly focus on implementing security policies to avoid the impact of external and internal threats. The security policy to be effective it must describe all the possible threats that impact on the organization and the basic security methods that must be followed to minimize those threats. The main scope of this investigation is to describe and evaluate the Wintec’s Information Technology (IT) security policy and Cybersecurity policy, and provide recommendations based on evaluating the policies.
