Abstract or Summary

In this presentation, we will introduce two websites: the Biotechnology Learning Hub (www.biotechlearn.org.nz) and the Science Learning Hub (www.sciencelearn.org.nz). These websites aim to enhance the learning experience for teachers and students by showcasing New Zealand science and technology using text, video, images and animations. We will also present the results of a pilot study into how teachers and students use the Science Learning Hub. The Hubs are developed by educators working closely with scientists and teachers, and are funded by the Ministry of Research, Science and Technology.
