Abstract or Summary

I have been part of the facilitation of cross-disciplinary research at Wintec. I have been leading a research project that is a collaboration with Pierson Rathinaraj (was in the Centre for Research & Applied Innovation, now in the International Centre) and Maddie Zadeh, from Centre for Applied Science and Primary Industries.

Item Type:Other
Additional Information:The aim to the project is to understand the prevalence of NPs and NPEs used in popular active-wear in New Zealand and the negative impact on ecosystems in Hamilton, New Zealand. My contribution to this cross-disciplinary research has been to lead the project, working on a literature review, organised meetings where required and follow up with suppliers. I have organised funding where needed and purchased chemicals and ordered tests. This year we have had 11 meetings to discuss the project direction and to analyse data received so far.
