Abstract or Summary

Generally, the old traditional way of teaching Trades students involves a group of students all doing the same task at the same speed. The School of Trades teaching premises are about to get a major revamp over the next few years. Teaching spaces will be totally transformed to accommodate a range of simultaneous student activities. This presentation will introduce staff to the new concepts (multiple spaces, simultaneous student activities) and will explore the role of the tutor in facilitating learning in this new environment.
