Abstract

Introductions to the Cosmos is the debut studio album by Dr. Mesmer's Private Army.
Originally conceived as a live performance ensemble, this group usually creates long-form improvisations in conjunction with live multimedia projection art.
This album sees a shift to shorter compositional forms, developed in the studio through a collaborative process where titles inspired pictures, and pictures inspired music.
TRACKS:
1. A way for the universe to know itself
2. Shining feebly by reflected sunlight
3. All that is or was or ever will be
4. A slowly dawning awareness
5. An inconspicuous point of light against the citadel of the stars
6. You must first invent the universe
7. A very small stage in a vast cosmic arena
8. Something incredible is waiting to be known
released March 29, 2018
