Created for a performance blessing the new Creative Waikato space.
'New Beginning' was premiered as part of the final 'Piano and Eggs' concert, which marked a move for the local arts advocacy group Creative Waikato.
The composition created by Jeremy Mayall and Horomona Horo utilised the sounds of the piano and various taonga puoro combined with recordings of rain, dawn chorus, water, and synthesisers - all designed to create a gentle soundscape to breath new life into a new environment.
