Abstract

Karu is an interactive animation projected onto the side of Hamilton City Council. The animation is targeted to kids from 2–8 and young families. Kid's will colour in a print out which they will slid into Karu's house—this wakes Karu up. The kids colouring of Karu's eyes will be projected onto the building so that the kids can see their creation come to life. This will run alongside Te Ruru light festival and be installed in the kids area.
