Abstract

This small selection of poems by Gail Pittaway has been chosen as part of the TEXT special issue,"The ERA Era" (in response to the Australian equivalent of PBRF) in which writers identified creative works as research outputs. The poems here reflect an attempt to explore poetry as memory, and to put this traditional concept of poetry ("Emotion recollected in tranquillity"-Wordsworth) into an antipoedean vernacular.
