This investigation is of how accountants are portrayed in movies from teh year 2000 until 2009 in New Zealand. The current decade had not been previously studied. Accountants in the movies are classified into one of five sterotypes. The results showed that accountants are still associated with the old boring beancounter image, which relates closely to the sterotyp of 'Plodder'. These findings indicate that the boring image of accountants has not yet began changing, and also that accounting disasters such as Enron, have not given accountants a negative imager as of yet.
