Abstract
All parts of a climber’s climbing system are rated, apart from the anchor point; therefore choosing a safe, secure anchor is crucial to safe climbing. In this presentation Andrew will explore the pros and cons of various anchor point set-ups. He will discuss how different climbing system configurations affect the loadings on anchors. Not least Andrew will explain how to choose and check good safe anchor points.
