Abstract
Musica in Cerebro
A paper about the relationship between music and the brain with exploration of literature and research around neurological links to music. This is paired with a performance of an original composition called "Musica In Cerebro" which was composed for a collaborative project with the Otago University Brain Health Research Centre.
The music draws on certain musical ideas that have an emotional and mental impact on us as listeners - combined with recordings of brainwaves. Following on from various research into music and the brain.
