Abstract

A presentation on the use of user reviews in the evolution of a software system. We applied text mining in identifying feature of interest to users of Android Operating System. We extracted noun phrases from enhancement requests and release notes. In addition we applied computational linguistic n-gram analysis by computing the total of each noun as unigrams. The results indicate that Android developers rely on end user reviews in evolving the Android Operating System.
