Abstract
Educational reforms, the drive for global recognition and the need to generate other funding streams have led educational institutions to "massify" their offerings. Educators are now dealing with an increased number of learners from a broader ethnic, cultural, economic and educational backgrounds. They are challenged to ensure these learners complete a range of higher qualifications at an affordable cost. This presentation investigates Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) and the concept of mass customisation driven by reflective frameworks.
