Abstract
As part of a national drive within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) to improve educational outcomes, Jubail Technical Institute (JTI) undertook a comprehensive review of the achievement based curriculum delivered and their traditional teaching practices. Recognising New Zealand was renowned for their learner centric competency-based educational practices JTI approached Wintec to help in the establishment of a Quality and Educational Development Centre (QEDC).
