Abstract
This presentation deals with a values-based approach (a tikanga Māori) to teaching a cohort of Māori and non-Māori learners. Key constructs such as relationship-building, hospitality, trust and care are outlined. The presentation also involved constructs elicitation, with a worked example of laddering up and down some of these constructs. This presentation has to be read in conjunction with Waitai, K. (2014)"Accessible Indigenous Resources".
